The week after we got engaged, Corene and Carly (Kristi's sisters) came to visit and Martin surprised us with a celebratory dinner at Stellar Jay, the restaurant inside Populus. It was our first time at the hotel, and we instantly fell in love with it. The atmosphere, the design, the food, everything felt intentional and special. That evening celebrating our engagement sealed it for us: this was where we wanted to host our reception and have our guests stay.
Populus is more than just a hotel, it’s a place rooted in beauty, meaning, and connection to nature. Inspired by the Aspen tree (Populus Tremuloides), the building’s architecture mirrors the tree’s distinct form and spirit of interconnectedness which is a perfect symbol for bringing people together. Every element, from the natural materials to the artwork and food, is carefully sourced and thoughtfully designed.
We love that everything means something here and we can’t wait for you to experience it with us.
Now for the party! Join us at Stellar Jay, the top floor of The Populus Hotel, for a night of celebration. We’ll have the drinks flowing, a delicious dinner, and plenty of time on the dance floor. We can’t wait to see you at the top!
For those driving, The Populus Hotel offers valet parking for your convenience. Alternatively, there is a public parking lot located directly adjacent to the hotel which offers a more budget-friendly, pay-to-park option.
